Task AS-1

Task AS -1 , a piece of writing, written in context to the first person, reflecting your experience of mentoring and training another persons by relating it to published writing about coaching ,mentoring and leadership.

Learning outcomes

• Determine and analyse the relevance in own professional practice or potential future professional practice.
• Justify with theoretical models the application of different approaches to specific contexts.

Guidelines for Assignment 1

It is a reflective account of practice linked to theory should be more 1000 but only up to 1350.

Here is a model on how to write it.

1)You need to 'link your essay to practice' with the help of an example of you mentoring and coaching somebody it can be formally or informally. Hence the introduction must be up to 200 words.

2)You link your experience to theory, so you could link it to leadership theory. If you are new possible link it with concept of 'emotional intelligence'. If it is later module you can link this based on other learning 500 words.

3) You can link this to GROW model and other models of coaching and the extent to which you mentored someone and difference between these two ideas in 500 words.

4) Finally conclude by looking at ways you could develop your practice and critique the methods you use in 300 words.
